It's cold outside tonight!! 5 degrees!! I hope everyone thinks of the critters outside. They should be brought inside. Tomorrow is going to be cold also, windchill -10. My horses will not be going outside. They will be in the barn in their warm straw nests.

It's super cold here, too. Since we live in town now, all of our critters are indoors. But I do recall this kind of cold last winter and our poor horses shivering with icicles on their whiskers. Even with blankets on and heated water, it was all they could do to stay warm. :(
