To stain or not to stain...

that is my the question. I will be painting the walls and ceiling but not quite sure what to do with the floor. I'm liking the look without anything but you can see where someone painted around a rug that was lying on the floor.
This room is my future art room/studio. I will be posting more pics.

Oh yes! A project I'm so excited!...
I love projects, even when they are not mine.
The floor...humm...I hate messing with an old finish. I love all the imperfections, but I understand the issue with the painted area. Can you sand the paint off?
Not sure what I'd do....I know, I've been no help at all... I can't wait to see what you decide to do.

Hi Debbie,

I'm a new follower of your blog. I understand from my sister-in-law, Tami Priest Turpin that you went to school with my husband, Thom Turpin. Do you remember him?

I agree with the other two, I would try to sand the painted area. Good luck with it.

Thanks ladies!! I have sanded some more to blend in the darker edge. I will be keeping it just the way it is and add a rug or two.

Thanks again!!
Blessings,
Debbie
